Description
In this exhibit, photographs of leaders, individuals, and groups of different Irish parties against the British will be featured. These will be photographs of individuals, such as Patrick Pearse and Countess Markievicz, and groups, such as Conradh na Gaeilge and Cumann na mBan, who led or conspired as Irish renegades against British rule over Ireland at the beginning of the 20th Century. As there are many groups, organizations, as well as individuals who have gathered and spoken out against the ruling hand of Great Britain, this exhibit will focus on the early 20th Century only.
